Bruges Weather
Bruges has a temperate climate, with six months of the year (May to September) experiencing mild to warm weather and the other six experiencing cool to cold weather with possibilities of snow. Rainfall is common throughout all seasons.
Summers
Summers in Bruges are warm but by no means scorching and certainly cooler than in many parts of neighbouring France. July and August are the hottest months, with highs of around 22C. The period from May to September is generally warm, with figures for daily highs going no lower than 17C. Rain can be expected at any time during this period, with May and June regularly experiencing close to three inches of rain.
Winters
Winters are cold and snow is a common feature of the season, as is rain, which can reach volumes of over three inches during January and again in March as the spring begins to appear. Daily highs from December to February are around the 6C mark and often fall below freezing.
