Since the airport is just a few minutes from the city centre by car, there aren’t any hotels at the airport itself. Your best bet is to stay at a hotel that offers a shuttle service to the terminal, but it’s just as easy to call for a taxi yourself.
Where to stay
The Old Town is easily accessible from the airport and offers the widest array of accommodation. Here, most of the major attractions, shops and restaurants are within walking distance and visitors can enjoy the medieval charm and atmosphere. However, Innsbruck is always in-season, making it necessary to make hotel reservations well in advance. Hotel rooms become particularly scarce from June through the end of summer and from December through mid-April.
