Manila Weather
Manila is hot and humid all through the year, but thanks to being located on the coast, steady sea breezes temper the climate to some extent. It is a little cooler between November and February.
Three seasons
Seasons can be roughly divided into the cool and dry season from November to February, the hot and dry season from March to May and hot and wet season from June to October. January is usually the coolest month, with an average temperature of 25ºC, while May is the hottest at 28ºC. Typhoons can occur between May and November.
Rain
The rainy season is between June and October, although rainfall is possible throughout the year. August is the wettest month, with almost 500mms of rainfall. The driest months are January through April, when it can be almost dry. The rest of the year, especially during the summer months, it rains a lot.
