Bali Weather
Pleasant temperatures ranging from 20°C to 35°C are typical during the daytime, year-round. The west monsoon brings high humidity from December to March, but the days are usually still sunny, with rain falling at night. June to September is a more comfortable time to visit, and enjoys lower humidity.
When to visit
The low-lying areas of the island are relatively hot and humid all year, with temperatures of up to 32°C around midday, dropping to 22°C at night. However, the weather at higher points around the island can be up to 10°C cooler. The most pleasant months to visit are April to May and September to October, as there are less tourists and rainfall is less likely.
The west monsoon arrives in November, and brings heavy rainfall until March. This can come in different forms, with occasional downpours as likely as several days of relentless drizzle. Nevertheless, Christmas remains a popular time to visit. June and July is also a peak time for tourism, and the island can be packed with tourists during these months.
