Owned and run by a group of British skiing and snowboarding friends who became bored with washing dishes to finance their winter seasons. We have designed Chalet Chardon to be a fun, informal place to stay. Catering for groups, budget minded travelers, students and backpackers.
Chalet Chardon is designed on the basis that the main expense for any ski holiday should be actual skiing! Our prices are kept low leaving you with more cash for the slopes. With friendly hotel staff, informal atmosphere and a lively fun ski and snowboard bar it is the perfect destination when in Tignes.
The resort of Tignes, boasts the largest glacier skiing in Europe, which enables us to have a massive winter season from early November, when the first ski and snowboard race groups turn up to train, to the end of April. The glacier stays open all year round for summer skiing, snowboarding and fun park action. Snow cover is not an issue, as even the glacier boasts 50 km of runs, whilst the whole Espace Killy claims 300 km of runs, nearly 100 lifts and almost unlimited off piste ski and snowboard potential.
