The resort has been host to two Winter Olympics and an FIS World Ski Championship.

St Moritz is a glamorous resort town offering far more than just excellent ski slopes. Its stylish shops and boutiques, cultural venues and performances, exquisite views, gourmet cuisine and ritzy nightlife combine to create an exclusive allure that is utterly appealing to the rich and famous.

St Moritz boasts 88 superb runs, distributed over 80kms, and has access to an additional 350kms of downhill runs. The longest piste in the ski resort is eight kilometres, and the slopes are divided between beginners (35 per cent), intermediates (25 per cent) and advanced (40 per cent).

In addition to the downhill runs, there are 180kms of cross-country trails, and some superb off-piste options for skiers and snowboarders. The ski season at St Moritz is between mid-November and the end of April, with optimal snow conditions over the Christmas period. On the après-ski front, St Moritz provides something for everyone, from art and folklore museums, to fabulous restaurants serving cuisine of an international standard, to glamorous casinos, bars and nightclubs. The resort also hosts regular concert performances.
