Rail transportation is an additional option for reaching the resort from Seoul, with trains stopping at nearby Kap’yong Station. The easiest means of reaching the resort is via hire car, but bus and rail transportation are alternative options for those who don’t enjoy driving on unfamiliar highways.Driving to Daemyung Vivaldi Park from Seoul should take between 1 hour, 30 minutes and 2 hours, but road transportation to the resort can take up to 3 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions. Rail transportation is available from Seoul, with trains stopping at the station of Kap’yong, not far from Daemyong resort. For visitors arriving in Korea by plane, the closest international airport to Daemyung resort is Seoul’s Incheon International Airport, while most domestic flights are received at Seoul’s Gimpo Airport, Gwahae-dong. Buses, shuttle buses and taxis provide transportation from the airports to the city centre, bus terminals and trains stations. Express buses run from Seoul’s Sangbong and Dong Seoul bus terminals to Kangwon-do Hongcheon, leaving at various times throughout the day. The first bus from Sangbong leaves at 06:40 and the last at 22:00, while the first bus from Dong Seoul leaves at 07:00 and the last at 21:30. From Kangwon-do Hongcheon, it’s possible to take a bus to Daemyung Vivaldi Park from Hongcheon Intercity Bus Terminal, with buses leaving nine times a day. Shuttle buses also run regularly between Seoul and Daemyung, leaving from Yeouido, Sinchon, Jamsil, Banpo, Apgujeong and Sanggye-dong.
