Another option is to go by rail from London to Paris and connect with the overnight sleeper train to Verona, from where you can take a train and bus combination to the resort. Travel is usually less of a problem when booking a package deal.By car, Val Di Fiemme is nearly 2,000kms and just under 12 hours away from the UK. The route will take you through Germany and Austria and into Italy, and will cost €52 in toll road fees. By car from Bolzano Airport, 42kms from the resort, take the SS12 and the SR48 for a 45-minute journey to Val Di Fiemme. The resort is 160kms by road to Verona, the next major city. By train, catch the four-hour Eurostar service from London Waterloo or Ashford in Kent to Paris. Connect with the overnight sleeper train to Verona in Italy and then on to the local train service to the station at Ora. A regular bus transfer is available to the resort from there. The journey should take around 15 hours in total. The closest airports to Val Di Fiemme are Bolzano (42kms) and Verona (160kms). The easiest option is to fly to Bolzano from the UK, and then take one of the regular bus transfer services to the resort from there. Alternatively, vehicles are available for hire at the airport.
