Nice and Turin are the nearest airports to the resort at only 96kms and 115kms away, respectively; you can hire a vehicle to complete your journey to the resort. Apres-ski in Limone PiemonteThe resort of Limone Piemonte is a lively spot full of Italian character, boasting fine cuisine, a lively après-ski and some interesting architecture. Its Mediterranean atmosphere attracts visitors of all ages, while its charming churches and cobbled streets add to the authenticity of the village. Renowned boutiques, art galleries and piano concertos all make appealing attractions at this popular resort.There is a range of accommodation available at the resort, from apartments through to hotels with restaurant and leisure facilities. Limone Piemonte is host to some fantastic restaurants and bars which make this a lively town. There’s also a cinema, concert hall, piano bars and theatre shows, plus great facilities for children and a commendable ski school. The village of Limone Piemonte sits at an elevation of 1,000m and is a bustling town with Mediterranean influence and a typically Italian atmosphere. There are numerous restaurants and bars at the resort providing great après-ski and cuisine of a high standard. The accommodation ranges from apartments to hotels and there are some interesting non-ski alternatives such as theatre shows, piano concerts and cinemas showing the latest films. There are plenty of activities and facilities for après-ski away from the slopes. Some of these include: discotheques, cinemas, a concert hall, piano bars, plus around 50 fine restaurants and bars. Boutiques and art galleries add flair to this typically Italian town, while activities such as paragliding, ice-skating and swimming are also available at the resort. Transportation to Limone PiemonteLimone Piemonte is situated an hour’s drive from the Mediterranean Sea, and is close to a number of airports, the nearest being Nice in France and Turin in Italy. The most convenient way of getting to Limone Piemonte is by flying to Turin and hiring a vehicle from the airport itself. Alternatively a combination of Eurostar and local train service will get you there in around 12 hours from the UK. A package deal will often pre-arrange all transport to the resort.By car, Limone Piemonte is about 1,144kms from Calais, with a driving time of around 10 hours, 30 minutes and toll road costs of about €100. When flying to Turin, follow the SS393 then the SS20 direct to the resort. The journey is 1 hour, 30 minutes, and the resort 115kms away. If you plan to fly to Nice and hire a car, getting to Limone Piemonte is a short journey taking around 1 hour, 30 minutes (96kms). From Nice, head towards Italy along the A8 and cross the border at the Tunnel de Tende. From there, follow signs to the resort, which is just seven kilometres from the tunnel. By train, catch the Eurostar service to Paris from London Waterloo or Ashford in Kent. Then connect with the overnight train service from Paris to Turin. From Turin, catch the local train service direct to the resort on the Torino-Cuneo–Ventimiglia line. The journey should take around 12 hours from London. The nearest airports to Limone Piemonte are Nice in France and Turin in Italy; both are accessible from the UK. Nice is 96kms from the resort and you can complete your journey by hire car; while Turin is 115kms away and offers train services to the resort. Alternatively, you can drive from Turin to the resort - a much easier journey than the drive from Nice.
