As one of the largest resorts in Argentina, Las Lenas delivers an all round skiing experience with pistes suitable for all abilities and off-piste skiing for expert skiers. With three other ski resorts located nearby, Las Lenas has the advantage of having the biggest ski area and most modern facilities. Skiing at Las Lenas resort starts in the middle of June and ends in the middle of September. The resort can be reached from Buenos Aires by flying to Malargue first, then by taking a bus transfer to the resort. Transportation to Las LenasFirst opened to the public in 1983, Las Lenas has become one of the best ski destinations in Argentina. International quality hotels and services along with a large ski area make this a popular resort. The most convenient method of transport to Las Lenas is by air from Buenos Aires to Malargue, then by taking a bus transfer to the resort.If you are travelling by car from Buenos Aires, first take National Route 7 before joining routes 188, 143, 144 and 40. For the final leg of the journey you need to take Provincial Route 222, which will take you all the way to Las Lenas. By plane from London to Buenos Aires is a 16-hour journey. From Buenos Aires you can take a plane to Malargue (the nearest airport to the resort), then a bus transfer the rest of the way to Las Lenas, a 2-hour, 30-minute journey. During the high season it is possible to fly to Malargue direct from São Paolo, Brazil.
