The Killers embark on American tour
03 December 2008Visitors to New York in January may get the chance to see one of the biggest bands of the moment doing their thing at one of the world''s most famous venues.
The Killers will play Madison Square Garden on January 25th as part of an extensive American tour.
Denver will be the first venue on the tour on January 17th, followed by cities including Chicago and Toronto before the Killers head to the Big Apple to entertain their fans in New York.
The Las Vegas four-piece will then head to Boston, Atlanta, Houston, Austin and other locations before their tour comes to an end at the beginning of February.
All of these shows are in support of the Killers'' latest album, Day & Age, which was released this month and looks set to top record charts all over the world.
The band has enjoyed plenty of success with their previous releases, with both Hot Fuss and Sam''s Town hitting the top of the album charts in the UK.
When they are not enjoying music concerts, visitors to New York can check out some sport at Madison Square Garden, as the venue is home to basketball side the New York Knicks and ice hockey team the New York Rangers.
