Wine festival comes to Vegas
13 October 2008Visitors to Las Vegas will next month have the opportunity to enjoy the delightful taste of Beaujolais Nouveau wine, as the second annual festival held in its honour gets underway.
Taking place at Paris Las Vegas from November 20th to the 23rd, the second Annual Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration features a series of special events and wine-related activities.
According to French tradition, Beaujolais Nouveau is only ready for consumption on the third Thursday in November – around six weeks after the harvest of the Gamay grapes that are used to produce it.
An estimated 65 million bottles of the wine will be consumed over the winter months.
Visitors to Paris Las Vegas can expect to find wine-pairing menus and sampling stalls, as well as a host of other entertaining features.
