Paris is able to attract top bands
Icelandic band play Paris
09 October 2008Fans of the Icelandic band Sigur Ros have the option of seeing them in the picturesque surroundings of Paris next month.
On November 15th, fans of the group can head to Paris to see the melodic quartet play songs from their latest album "With a Buzz in our Ears We Play Endlessly" as well as classics from their back catalogue.
Audience members will be able to listen to the quirky sound of singer Jonsi Birgisson''s falsetto voice, which has been in the public eye since the release of their first album back in 1999.
Icelandic musicians are renowned for their eccentricity, and Sigur Ros are no different, having made albums in a nonsensical language as well as an ethereal rock compilation.
The Zenith de Paris is one of the European country''s most established music venues, and offers 6,000 seats for fans of artists such as Katie Melua, the Kooks, Keane and the Pussycat Dolls, all of whom are playing in the coming months.
