Continental flights disrupted by weather

Continental flights disrupted by weather

14 January 2008

Continental Airlines warned its passengers that its flights on January 14th would be affected by severe weather conditions in north-east America.

The carrier said that winter storms were expected to "make air travel difficult" in the region and force delays and cancellations of flights at airports throughout the north-east.

In order to avoid inconvenience, Continental said that some passengers "may wish to delay commencement of their trip".

People travelling in the America's north-east region should also ensure they have travel insurance to cover them for any eventualities that could be caused by the weather conditions.

Continental suffered similar problems to flights on December 12th 2007, when it warned passengers that delays and cancellations would be likely.

The airline has hubs in the USA serving New York, Houston and Cleveland and carries approximately 67 million passengers per year.ADNFCR-1337-ID-18425923-ADNFCR
