With Essential Travel's migraine travel insurance cover, you're assured your condition won't be something to fret over. All our policies make provision for migraines without the added inconvenience of a medical screening. And coverage even extends to chronic suffers of the condition. Bear in mind, it's advisable you speak to your doctor first before travelling. If he or she is okay with it, we're okay with it.

Once insured, you are eligible for up to £10 million in medical cover. This includes all the medication you might need if your condition requires urgent medical attention whilst on holiday. And if you are travelling with your own medication and they get lost in transit, we'll happily replace them so you can get back to enjoying your holiday. And this coverage will last for as long your holiday lasts- from as little as two days up to a whole year of travel. And because this coverage comes as a standard across all our policies, your premium won't be affected.

Please be aware that our migraine travel insurance cover is only for those that are only diagnosed as sufferers. If your migraines are a result of another illness you have or you are waiting for a diagnosis, you will need to apply for additional medical cover. Under our pre-existing medical conditions optional extra, you'll receive the standard medical cover plus coverage suited to your specific medical condition.
