Safety
Although driving across Montana is relatively safe and hassle-free, driving long distances places the traveller at a greater risk of having an accident. Always try to park your car off city streets at night. Pickpockets are not uncommon in the larger cities and water sports are also a potential hazard. We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance for you and your family.
