One of the most sparsely populated countries in Africa, Namibia is a vast piece of land that is made up mainly of desert and semi-desert regions. Its red-toned sand and rocks stretch endlessly into the distance, creating a strange, stark beauty and a sense of unlimited space.

Moving inland from Swakopmund, visitors can view the strikingly beautiful dunes of Sossusvlei, mammoth bodies of pink sand that stretch as far as the eyes can see.
