  • Qatar
    Qatar is very flat, this highest part is only 130ft above sea level. It is also very dry, with most of the country covered in desert with virtually no vegetation. It is an oil-rich country and Islam is its guiding principle. The dry environment meant it was unoccupied for centuries before it was settled by Bedouins.
