Rules for children travelling unaccompanied

If your children are flying by themselves, you must first check whether the airline will be prepared to carry them. Most airlines will carry unaccompanied minors from the age of 5 upwards, but rules do differ from airline to airline. And don't forget ALL airlines require advance notice of children travelling alone.

Children's sports cover

We know kids love to take part in sports, so all of our children's travel insurance policies include sports cover up to Grade 1. However, if your children are particularly adventurous and are likely to take part in more daring activities such as Mountain biking or Go-Karting, we can provide additional sports cover from £7.50.

If your child suffers from a medical condition this doesn't automatically mean they can't travel without you.
